If you love gardening, then you?re most likely looking for new and creative ways to decorate your beloved garden. After all, our garden should be a sanctuary filled with everything that makes us feel better and happier. And, in case you haven?t heard, DYI gardens are the future. Having a DYI garden can be very rewarding, because nothing is more satisfying than looking at something and knowing you made it from scratch.

And in case you were running out of ideas on how to decorate your beautiful DYI garden, you’ll be glad to know that plastic bottles can turn into some of the best garden decorations out there. And, on top of that, it’s also a fun and creative way to recycle! Here are three lovely ideas using custom plastic bottles that will help you decorate your garden and liven it up.

    1. Make wind decorations

Wind decorations are a fun and colorful addition to your garden that will surely liven up the atmosphere at any time of day, and especially when it’s a bit windy. For this, you need the bottom of bottles that are 16 ounce, 20 ounce or two liters. The fun thing about the bottom of a bottle is that it’s shaped like a flower, so it can be the perfect decoration. All you need to do is poke one hole in one spot on the bottom of each piece and put a piece of string or fishing line through it.

This sort of decoration looks extra pretty if you have various colors of ‘flowers’ on hand. Unfortunately, classic water or soda bottles only ever come in clear or green colors. Fortunately, there are websites such as allinpackaging.co.uk who offer wholesale plastic bottles. There, you can purchase any size and color recipient you want, and use them for your fun projects.

    2. Make a bird house

A bird house can be a lovely addition to any garden. But did you know that you can make a pretty little bird house from a two-liter plastic bottle? And it’s very simple too! Keep reading and we’ll teach you how it’s done.

First, cut a round hole on the side of the pet plastic bottle, right near the bottom. The hole should be big enough for a bird to go through.

Under the first hole, cut a smaller hole and put a thicker stick in it, so that the bird can sit on it.

Fill the bottle up with nest material, such as hay and/or twigs.

If you want to go the extra mile, you can even paint cheerful little patterns on the bottle turned bird house. Your tiny chirping guests will love it!

    3. Make a bird feeder

Your birdhouse surely must have brought quite a few cute little winged friends to your garden, so why not make them a bird feeder as well? Just cut a small hole 4 inches from the bottom of a bottle, and another hole on the opposite site, placed slightly higher. Place two wooden spoons through the holes, and fill the bottle up with bird food. Your chirping buddies will now visit your garden even more often!
