The International LGBTQI Youth & Student Organisation International is looking to recruit an Advocacy & Research Manager and help it represent the intersectional needs of LGBTQI young people across Europe through strategic advocacy, research, and partnerships.
Founded in 1984 and based in Brussels, the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) Youth & Student Organisation (IGLYO) is the largest member-based network in the world dedicated to LGBTQI youth and their rights. Today, it represents the voice of over 150 Member Organisations in 40 countries across the European region. Its work focuses on the protection, empowerment, and freedom of LGBTQI young people under 30 years old.
In this role, you will lead the Advocacy & Research Team and provide strategic leadership for IGLYO’s advocacy, policy and research work during the fixed-term parental-leave cover period.
You will further oversee IGLYO’s engagement with European and international institutions, manage research and funded projects, and ensure that IGLYO’s advocacy is informed by evidence and the experiences of LGBTQI young people and Member Organisations.
