BEUC, The European Consumer Organisation, is seeking a Senior Data Protection Officer.
EUC is the umbrella group for 44 independent consumer organisations from 31 countries. Its main role is to represent them to the EU institutions and defend the interests of European consumers.
Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Policy, you will be in charge of developing and implementing BEUC’s advocacy work on data protection and privacy, notably in relation to the EU’s Data Union and artificial intelligence strategies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive (ePrivacy Directive).
