(BRUSSELS) - Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci said on Friday that Kosovo had applied for membership in the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

"Yesterday we applied to be a member of the World Bank and the IMF. We worked very hard on that and we have created a new reality," he told reporters at the start of an international Kosovo donors conference in Brussels.
