EUbusiness.com - About Us

04 February 2010, 11:40 CET

The EUbusiness web site is Europe's leading independent online business information service about the European Union.

Founded in Luxembourg in 1997 by Managing Director Nick Prag, with the help of former Europe Online colleague and editor Wendy Jones, the site is managed and owned by EUbusiness Ltd in the United Kingdom. Our journalists provide daily-updated news and information about EU policy, legislation, economic data and opportunities to a fast-growing membership of over 65,000 business professionals, of which more than 25,000 receive the weekly email newsletter EUbusiness Week.

In April 2005 EUbusiness entered into partnership with business publisher Crimson Business. Crimson Business seeks to inspire and inform owners and directors of the UK's smaller and mid-sized businesses through magazines, websites, customer media and events which help business people to improve their company.

Prior to EUbusiness, Managing Director Nick Prag was Senior Editor at Europe Online SA in Luxembourg, where he played a major part in the launch of Europe Online International. Before this, he worked as a freelance editor and journalist, mainly in the field of the European Union.

On the EUbusiness Board are Michael Ter-Berg, formerly Chief Executive of Medic2Medic, and before that Director of Development at DMG Information, part of the Daily Mail Group, investors in, and managers of, high growth international companies; and Derek Prag, Honorary Member of the European Parliament, MEP for Hertfordshire from 1979 to 1994, and former Head of the European Commission's London office.

Team

The EUbusiness team includes Technical Director Keith Bramich, who is also managing director of Orion Computer Consultants Ltd, a web design firm with special interests in the arts, business and communication; and Sales Manager Jonas Jaanimagi.

More than 160,000 unique visitors per month rely upon our objective pan-European perspective. Our aim is to become the premier business information source about the European Union.
