Business and Tech Features to Look for in Your Manchester Serviced Apartment

A serviced apartment in Manchester is one of the best choices a business traveller can make. Whether you’re just in Manchester for a short time or a longer period, a serviced apartment can offer a lot more comfort, space, amenities, and tech features than that of a hotel.

So, what business and tech features in particular will business travellers want to look for in a Manchester serviced apartment? Here’s a list of the top features to watch for.

    Reliable High-Speed Wireless Internet

Perhaps the most important feature you’ll be watching for as you browse through the Manchester apartments is reliable high-speed wireless internet. In today’s tech-reliant landscape, it’s awfully difficult to go about your work without internet connection. The last thing you want to be doing is trying to find a local café you can work in with free internet access.

Of course, it’s worth investigating whether it is, in fact, high-speed internet, so you won’t have to deal with lagging and downtime. If you plan on conducting any video conferencing calls, high-speed internet will be a necessity.

    A Comfortable Workspace

The next thing to be mindful of is whether the serviced apartment offers a comfortable place where you can set up your laptop and work. While a dining table may do the trick, it’s not going to be as comfortable as a desk. At least with a desk you will have room to spread out files and documents, and perhaps even have a bit of built-in storage space, allowing you to stay organised.

If you will be accompanied by your significant other, then a desk and chair may not cut it ? you may need a whole separate bedroom that you can essentially call your office. It may be necessary for you to have privacy and quiet while working, so being able to close the door on that bedroom will be helpful.

Be sure to take a look at the floorplan and any photos of the apartment before you go ahead and rent it. This will ensure that you get a good feel for the space and figure out if there is an area for you to work in.

    On-Site Dining or Nearby Dining

Finally, if you plan on putting in long hours while in Manchester, it would be nice to know you have nearby or on-site dining options. Sure, your serviced apartment will have its own fully-equipped kitchen, where you can go ahead and make a coffee and a snack, but it doesn’t mean you have the time or desire to cook up meals three times a day. Work may take up too much of your time.

A Few Considerations to Be Mindful Of

These are just a few of the considerations you’ll want to be mindful of when picking a serviced apartment for business travel in Manchester.
