How will Executive Travel Change in the Future EU?

Travel has long been a privilege to those in the EU, strengthening a connection that facilitated cross country trade and employment. Additionally, executive travel is an enormous part of that, iconic of booming business on an international scale. Put simply, it lends style to substance, as jetting off in executive fashion becomes a symbol of success.

However, with the instability incited by Brexit, the conditions of travel will change drastically both to and from the UK. With the free movement of workers immediately ceasing after Brexit, Britons and Europeans alike wonder if their restricted travel privileges will leave them worse off. Owing to the uncertainty, executive travel will be impacted in at least two areas.

    Low Cost Carriers Moving On?

Due to the turbulence in the Brexit negotiations, air travel is essentially locked in crisis. Regular flights become more unstable by the day, with Ryanair threatening to withdraw their operations from the UK entirely unless the discussions straighten out their way soon.

Low cost carriers are in chaos, but reports have surfaced stating that they will band together during this turbulent time to set up stronger roots in the EU. Of course, this will no doubt change the circumstances of executive travel, narrowing down the options available for transit and raising costs accordingly. Even EasyJet is watching its back, slumping British based airlines into an all-time low.

Ultimately, this will all likely spiral into a knock-on effect. After all, if the cheaper airlines have begun to count their losses and second guess their position, then obviously there is no real reason why the higher quality flights shouldn’t either.

A Second Look at the Private Jet Charters?

Private jets used to be reserved for the finest tycoons and best industrialists, but considering souring Brexit negotiations, they are fast becoming an option to those wanting to avoid the pending faff and narrowing of options in their airline choices.

Despite the luxurious image often associated with this form of air travel, the private jet is recorded as becoming cheaper as time goes on. Of course, this is due in no small part to empty legs flights, one-way trips back to base that accommodate passengers at a discounted price. Additionally, companies such as Fly Victor offer an on demand private jet charter, eliminating the hassle of air travel and streamlining the experience to a smart phone.

Nevertheless, if nothing else, the private jet charters can keep users conveniently connected to their flights at some extra expense, providing some security and reassurance at the very least.
