Therefore, you should really use the beste energievergelijker van Nederland, which is a site that allows you to compare energy prices so you can select the cheapest one. By doing this, you will already be able to save money on energy, which is, of course, great. Selecting the cheapest energy provider, called energieleverancier kiezen via Easyswitch, is one of the best ways of doing this, but it is also advised to make some adjustments in your office. Below you will find four simple energy saving methods you should really implement in your building to save even more money.

    Glass insulation

The use of insulating glass immediately results in a more favorable energy label, while it will also result in energy savings for you. This is the case since a lot of heat escapes through glass. Therefore, use double glazing or high-efficiency glass, also known as HR glass. You can insulate your office very well with these types of glass because in the summer you need to cool less and in the winter you need to heat less. This reduces your energy consumption and will thus save you quite a lot of money.

    LED lighting

The vast majority of office buildings still use fluorescent and halogen lighting. However, nowadays there are better options if you want to save money on energy. If you replace these lamps with LED lighting, you will in fact save half on your energy costs for lighting. In addition, LED lamps last much longer and are cheaper to maintain. A good investment, with which you can save energy in a simple way, although it could be expensive to buy a lot of LED lights which you will have to do if you want to replace all lighting inside your office building.

    Installations

Installations that regulate the temperature in the office have a major influence on the energy label of your office building, which it influences your energy costs as well. If you choose the right installations, this will have a positive impact on the energy label and bill. By consciously dealing with the use of installations, you can save energy because of that. For example, with an air conditioner, make sure that the heat that comes from the installation can be dissipated to the outside, otherwise you will have a higher energy usage and thus a higher energy bill.

    Draft lock

With a draft lock, a separate room at the entrance of your building that is closed off with sliding doors, for example, you prevent heat or cold from being lost when the door is opened. That way you do not need to heat or cool your office building as much, which will usually cost a lot of energy and money because of that. By using a draft lock, you will be able to decrease this, so you can also reduce the costs of your energy usage in your office.
