Of course, everyone wants an energy bill that is as low as possible. This is no different when you are the owner of a company.

This can be done with the help of an energy comparator, called an energievergelijker in Dutch to ensure that you save on your bill. This means you have to pay less money to your energy supplier, which is known as an energie leverancier in Dutch. You could then also decide to use a green energy supplier. This company will only supply green energy, which is thus an eco-friendly business. Below are more great green business ideas.

    Eco-friendly beauty salon

If you have fallen in love with cosmetology and want to start a beauty business in Europe you could decide to create one that Mother Nature has approved. This can be done with the help of organic and vegan hair and beauty products, these become more and more popular at the moment. This trend can thus be used by opening an eco-friendly beauty salon. You can open a hair salon that only uses all-natural shampoos and conditioners for example. Besides that, it is also possible to start a nail salon that only employs environmentally friendly and vegan polishes and spa treatments.

    Secondhand store

More and more people are shopping at secondhand stores nowadays. In some cases, they are forced to do this since they do not have a big budget, but some people go to secondhand stores because they want to buy clothes in a way that is environmentally friendly. Secondhand stores, of course, do not only sell clothes, but you could also buy books, furniture, and much more products here. Shopping here as a customer is a smart idea, but starting your own secondhand store is a great plan as well. This way you can help both people and the environment.

    Eco-friendly cleaning business

A lot of cleaning products contain chemicals. These contribute to pollution, while they can harm people and pets if they come in contact with them too. You can counter this problem by starting an eco-friendly cleaning business. Your company can for example exclusively use nontoxic cleaning products. On top of that, brands that minimize the use of single-use plastics can be employed by your eco-friendly cleaning business as well. This is environmentally friendly as well, of course. Reusing greywater is another way to decrease your company’s environmental impact.
