    What to Expect at the EU-Startups Summit 2019

    On May 2-3, the 2019 EU-Startups Summit will be held in sunny Barcelona. At the annual flagship event, Europe?s hottest startups will meet the most successful European entrepreneurs, innovators and investors to learn from them.

    Here is a complete lay down of what to expect from the summit this year:

    The Audience/ Focus

    The 2019 EU-Startups Summit will bring together about 1200 startup founders, corporate, VCs, media personalities, angel investors and other enthusiasts from all over Europe. The two-day event will be a meeting point for investors and entrepreneurs aiming to build international companies. It will also be a great opportunity for networking.

    Those attending the event will have a great chance to network and enjoy fireside chats with successful international entrepreneurs. The event will also include an exciting pitch competition that will see 15 startups selected from about 1000 participants.

    The Speakers

    This year’s EU-Startups Summit will have high-profile investors and entrepreneurs speaking and mentoring various European startups. Funderbeam CEO and founder Kaidi Ruusalep will be among the key speakers in the events. Other speakers include TravelPerk CEO Avi Meir, Airhelp founder Henrik Zillmer, Adblock Plus CEO Till Faida, Streetbees CEO Tugce Bulut and Startup Guide founder Sissel Hansen, to name a few.

    Pitch Competition

    As earlier revealed, the EU-Startups Summit 2019 will feature a big pitch competition where 15 most exciting early-stage startups will battle it out. The selected startups will pitch their business idea within 3 minutes, presenting it to a panel of well-known expert investors and other attendees.

    The application for the pitch competition ended on 25th February and all that’s left are the actual presentations. This competition will see the winner receive an exciting prize package worth over ?70,000.

    Breaking News From Tech and EU Leaders

    As always, the EU-Startups Summit will give the attendees news on the latest startups from EU and tech leaders. That will give the attendees a great chance to get inspired by leaders and learn more about funding opportunities 9in Europe. That also includes information and programs that support startups, such as the European Innovation council, Startup Europe and Digital Innovation Hubs. It will be a wonderful change for entrepreneurs to learn how to change the tech game.

    Tickets and Timings

    With the main event scheduled for May 2-3, the summit will start from 10 am to 6 pm. The evenings will offer yet another great chance for networking while enjoying a glass of wine in the after party. Soon, the concrete agenda for the workshop and the main stage will follow.

    Compared to other international tech events, the EU-Startups Summit has set its ticket prices at a relatively affordable price. Startup founders and enthusiasts can get tickets for about ?150, while investors, service providers and corporate can get tickets for less than ?400.
