Strengthening Local Risk Governance for a Climate-Resilient Europe
A high-level policy workshop bringing together representatives from European institutions, local and regional governments, civil protection authorities, emergency services, academia, international organisations and the private sector to examine how stronger local governance, improved coordination and innovative risk intelligence can enhance preparedness for future crises and support climate-resilient communities. The workshop will also gather feedback on a digital platform, developed by Aston University researchers, that supports disaster risk governance and policy analysis and is being adapted from Southeast Asia to the European context.
