The conference consists of five thematic events that will be held during a cruise along the river Danube. During each event, specific issues related to policies, country assessments, state-of-the-art technologies and best practices in renewable energy sources (RES) will be presented.

The journey will lead from Vienna (Austria) to Bratislava (Slovakia), Budapest (Hungary), Vukovar (Croatia) and the final destination, Belgrade (Serbia). In Vienna, the session will be dedicated to renewable electricity technologies, while polygeneration of heat and power will be on the agenda in Bratislava. Eco-buildings, biofuels and alternative motor fuels will be the topics of interest in Budapest and Vukovar, respectively. Renewable heating and cooling technologies will complete the series in Belgrade.
