European Network of GMO laboratories

Since June 2000, an enforcement network for GMO Laboratories exists in the European Union. That network, called ENGL (European Network of GMO Laboratories) is coordinated by the European Commission (DG Joint Research Centre - JRC) and comprises currently about 50 laboratories, representing all EU enforcement laboratories, plus Norway and, as observers, a number of Accession Countries.
