The European Union is more than just economic integration and Single Market. It has offered long-lasting peace across the European continent and has brought a community together that shares fundamental values of democracy, human rights, freedom, equality and rule of law.

Entrepreneurs and SMEs all over Europe can further benefit from a stronger, united and forward looking Europe, which is also SMEunited's vision for Europe's future. In order to make it a reality, SMEunited President Ulrike Rabmer-Koller invites all European entrepreneurs and citizens to shape a common future by voting in the European Parliament Elections from 23rd to 26th May.
"Indeed, SMEs all over Europe are benefiting from European Integration", explains SMEunited President Ulrike Rabmer-Koller, "60 years of peace means stability, prosperity and welfare." The EU has become a main player at global level, while individual countries would be irrelevant in the global context. Thanks to the Single Market, SMEs have access to 500 million consumers and benefit from joint standards and regulations instead of 28 different rules. The Euro became a global currency and facilitates cross border business and many companies benefit from EU programmes to innovate, access finance and go international.
"In the interest of our 24 million SMEs, SMEunited works for a stronger, united and forward-looking Europe", she argued, "we want to create an entrepreneurial society in which SMEs can successfully start, grow, develop and innovate."
The outcome of the European elections will be decisive for the future of European integration and the 24 million entrepreneurs, with their families and employees, are a powerful electorate that can make a difference. "This is why I want to invite all our entrepreneurs to take part in the elections and to shape Europe for SMEs!" concluded Ms Rabmer-Koller.
