Big Data & Machine Learning startup, Skapánê is exhibiting at the Dublin Tech Summit for the first time as part of the French Tech pavilion. The show marks the French startup's launch in Ireland.

Today's fraud is increasingly sophisticated. Taking e-commerce for example, it is only be detected in 0.3% of online purchases – which amounts to several hundred million euros per year. Fraudsters are often one step ahead.

Skapánê applies its knowledge and know-how to any kind of real time data in order to detect and predict abnormal behaviours, to screen and analyse images as well as videos to prevent money laundering. The company offers several solutions including:

  • Online Fraud Fighter, which uses machine learning expertise to identify fraudulent transactions on e-commerce web sites. Behaviours, orders and transactions are analysed in real-time by integrated algorithms on the e-commerce website. Online Fraud Figher optimises user experience and lowers order loss with a call to action to drive the customer back to the website to check-out.
  • Datalake Manager, a day-to-day companion to access data stored in Skapánê's BigData platform
  • Anti-Money Laundering that captures suspicious transactions and identifies people by freezing assets. The software issues an alert to conformity teams who make a final decision on whether the transaction is genuine or not.
