Everybody at one time in their life has dreamt of being famous. However, as a rule, to become a household name would mean that a special talent or gift sets one apart from everyone else. Fans often have the same opinion as the general viewpoints expressed by the contestants, ultimately adding to the sense of being part of something bigger. In general humans believe receiving more attention ultimately also translates in an elevated personal status.

Even where contestants are being portrayed in an awful light, millions of people will sit up and pay them extra attention. Numerous people will sheepishly concur that even negative attention is preferable to being completely ignored. This goes to show that substantial truth can be found in the belief that "bad publicity can be good".

Several individuals have become exceedingly famous after capitalizing on their stint on TV Realities. Many cleverly work to ensure that they secure their standing within public interest. Similarly talented individuals use programs like these as a chance to jump start their career within the entertainment industry thus eliminating many years of struggling. But becoming an overnight success does still involve a tremendous amount of work to maintain public interest and at times comes at a very high price. Therefore sound advice would be to make sure that one is portrayed in a true sense.
