The Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) of EEA Grants - Norway Grants is recruiting a Head of Department for Programmes.

Details

The EEA Grants and Norway Grants represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reducing economic and social disparities and to strengthening bilateral relations with 15 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics.

The Financial Mechanism Office in Brussels is the secretariat of the EEA and Norway Grants and reports to the Foreign Ministries of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

The Head of the Programmes Department leads a department consisting of Priority Sectors Unit, Funds and Horizontal Concerns Unit, Results and Evaluation Unit and Programme Closure Group. The Department has 33 staff members. S/he has the overall responsibility for the FMO’s work on the programmes and funds, including the management of the results and evaluation. S/he provides policy advice and expertise related to programming during the whole programme cycle. Through her/his work, the Head of Department contributes to the achievement of the overall objectives of reducing social and economic disparities and strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
