The European Chemicals Agency has a vacancy for a Regulatory Officer.

Location: Helsinki, Finland


The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is the driving force among regulatory authorities in implementing the EU's ground-breaking chemicals legislation for the benefit of human health and the environment as well as for innovation and competitiveness. ECHA, together with its partners, works for the safe use of chemicals.

The Regulatory Officer will work in the Directorate for Prioritisation and Integration of the Agency, in the Prioritisation Unit. S/he will work in close collaboration with Member State authorities, other EU agencies and the Commission, and with other internal teams in ECHA.

The Prioritisation Unit coordinates the identification and prioritisation of groups of substances requiring further regulatory actions at the EU level and supports the identification of the appropriate regulatory measures. It manages the prioritisation and listing of substances on the Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP) and on the Authorisation List (Annex XIV Recommendation).
