Opening business in Europe while living in USA

06 February 2003, 00:17 CET

I am Spanish and plan to open a business in Europe to export to the US from different European companies. I live in the US and don't want to move to Europe yet. What are the implications, taxes, etc...? What is the best way to do this business?
Do you know of a website that I can go for reference?
I would like to know if there are any implications because I am still living in the US. Will I be taxed in Europe and in the US?
Also, I will be traveling to Europe but will not need an office there. Do I need to have a valid address in Spain? Do I need to open an office and have someone local work in it?
I would really appreciate if you can give me the information or refer me to the correct source.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Flor Ollarves
