Publication synopsis In order to tackle the challenges that the completion of the Single Market faces, the European Commission has put 50 proposals up for debate. These were set out in the Communication "Towards a Single Market Act". On the basis of the contributions made during the public debate, the Commission has identified twelve levers. In order to boost growth and reinforce citizens' confidence, the Commission proposes that the EU should adopt a key action for each lever by the end of 2012.
