This three-day conference will bring together experts, practitioners,
policy makers, and academics from the Mediterranean region working or
interested in information systems (IS).
The conference aims to:
- promote IS research in social, cultural and economic areas of the
region,
- enhance IS research to further develop regional knowledge, and
infrastructure,
- raise visibility of IS-related research, education, policy and
practice in the region.
A wide variety of topics will be covered at the event, including B2B
electronic services and interorganisational systems, cloud
infrastructures and interoperability in the public sector,
cross-cultural issues in IS, cultural tourism and heritage, digital
divide and e-government, open source software in the Mediterranean
region, and interdisciplinary and emerging IS research themes.
