The European e-Justice portal is an electronic one-stop-shop for access to justice throughout the EU. Did you leave your mother country to move within the EU and want to contact a notary to purchase an apartment there? Were you a victim of fraud during your holidays in another EU Member State, and you need to find a lawyer there? Or are you a judge who needs to consult rules applying in other EU countries? The answer should be just a click away, available on the new e-Justice portal. Launched on 16 July 2010, the web site benefits citizens, businesses, lawyers and judges with cross-border legal questions and boosts mutual understanding of different legal systems by contributing to the creation of a single area of justice.
