(ISTANBUL) - At least 33 migrants drowned in two accidents in the Aegean Sea Monday as they tried to cross from Turkey to Greece, Turkish media said.

Twenty-two died when their boat sank off the district of Edremit in Balikesir province, shortly after 11 migrants died off Izmir, they said.

Both vessels had apparently been trying to reach the Greek island of Lesbos, Dogan news agency said.

Leaving Turkey a safe country for death in the sea is the peoples own choice as there are plenty of safe land without a sea crossing . The people traffickers being millionaires will be easy to spot ,the police watch and know them anyway ,so if the people traffickers are not millionaires it means they are funding ISIS and EU is aiding them with their open door policy.
