No Iranian response yet on mooted US meeting: source
(ISTANBUL) - Iran's delegation at crunch nuclear talks here on Saturday has not yet said whether it is willing to hold what would be rare bilateral discussions with their US counterparts, an Iranian source told AFP.
"There is a request from the Americans but there is no response yet," said the source, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The European Union's spokesman earlier said the six world powers were interested in holding bilateral talks before a plenary session resumed later on Saturday.
That was confirmed by both Western diplomats and sources from the Iranian delegation.
