Alstom wins EUR 160m train contract from Deutsche Bahn
(FRANKFURT) - Deutsche Bahn, Germany's national rail network, said on Thursday it had placed an order worth 160 million euros ($200 million) for 38 diesel locomotives with French firm Alstom.
The locomotives will be put into service in Deutsche Bahn's regional network in the state of the Rhineland-Palatinate and in parts of Hesse and Baden-Wuerttemberg from 2015, the German company said in a statement.
