Consumer confidence slips across EU

(BRUSSELS) - The EU's consumer confidence indicator for the 16 countries that share the euro recorded its first fall after 10 months of improvement, official figures showed on Thursday.

The consumer confidence indicator for February came in at minus 17.4 (down from minus 15.8 in January) in the eurozone, and minus 13.6 (down from an adjusted minus 13.1) for the full 27-nation European Union.
