EU applauds Obama victory, hopes for 'new deal'

(BRUSSELS) - The European Union applauded Wednesday the US election victory by Democratic candidate Barack Obama and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso calling for a "new deal".

"This is a time for a renewed commitment between Europe and the United States of America," Barroso said in a statement. "We need to change the current crisis into a new opportunity. We need a new deal for a new world."

"I sincerely hope that with the leadership of President Obama, the United States of America will join forces with Europe to drive this new deal. For the benefit of our societies, for the benefit of the world," he said.

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, whose country holds the rotating EU presidency, wished Obama great success and said his energy would be needed to build a safer world.

"France, Europe and the international community need his energy, his rejection of injustice and his determination to go forward to build a safer, fairer and more stable world," said Kouchner.

"France and the European Union will stand ready to work closely with Barack Obama and with his administration within the framework of a renewed transatlantic partnership," he said in a statement.

"Together, we must seize this historic opportunity to combine our efforts to meet the economic, climate and security challenges that also face us all," said Kouchner, wishing Obama "the greatest possible success".

Europe's ties with US President George W. Bush were regularly strained, and tensions among EU countries over the Iraq war were fuelled by his perceived preferrence for unilateral decision-making outside the United Nations.

Kouchner said that people around the world would "welcome the election of a man committed to dialogue between peoples and communities, and cooperation among nations."

Dear Obama,
May good GOD of AFRICA and AMERICA continue to give more wisdom, protections, and good governing to your administration, directly or indirectly to breast feed the next generation for good. And also remember to help the less privilege, especially the sick, the poorest among the poor, even the poor illegal immigrants living in united States, do not fight against them, do not pass any unjust law against the charity, unite them together as itÅ› in heaven.Always remember (charities) the prayer of the poor before your election, fighting against unscrupulous people to ensure your success. " NA GOD DO AM FOR YOU,COLOR NO BE ADMINISTRATION BUT NA GOOD HEART AND NUMBER SIX SENSE". All Godly people loves you, and all Evang, all pastor, all Rev., Bishop are all solidly beside you, right from the day you came out as the Presidential candidate of United States of America. "JESUS NA YOUR PAPA, MARY NA YOUR MAMA, AND GOD NA YOUR DIRECTOR", keep smiling because GOD BLESS YOU TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOREVER...AMEN.

EU applauds Obama...

After eight years of total disaster, the world is glad to see that a capable intellectual is getting ready to take the helm at the most powerful nation under the sun. And not a moment too soon.

Eight years of deceit, lies, ineptitude, horse thievery and major screw ups...

That is what you get - a true moron - when you are dumb enough to appoint to the highest office of the land the son, daughter, wife, husband, or a cousin of a former politician just like assad of syria or kim jung-ill of north korea or bush of usa or ghandi of india or whatever of pakistan etc etc.

Get the picture?

Although one would expect a little more wisdom and prudence from the Americans, when it comes to the politics they fall for the bimbo effect just like the ones listed above.

Case in point, "I am not a crook" nixon, the half wit star gazing, star wars believer regan, leader of the "Tweedle dim and the tweedle dumb" duo; bush - even after eight years of elocution lessons still can not get two sentences together without a humm and uuugh and a 60 secons memory juggling silence, and of course the almost made it mccain and palin comedians. Yes the Americans love the "bimbo" effect in their politics and make a point of appointing hollywood cowboys, or body builders or terminators to the highest offices only to watch them to screw up royally and bankrupt everything they touch except their bank accounts.

The true face of the American way of politics...
Just like their ball rooom dancing...
A true circus act...
