(BRDO PRI KRANJU) - Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said he would not meet Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci in Slovenia Saturday, scuppering EU hopes of getting the pair together.

"I personally won't be attending because I am going back to Belgrade in 20 minutes," Jeremic told reporters in Brdo, near the capital Ljubljana after a breakfast meeting with EU foreign ministers.

Other Western Balkans foreign ministers, along with Thaci, were due to meet the European ministers in a round-table discussion later in the morning.
