The POLIS network is organising a conference entitled 'Towards a common agenda for mobility in cities and regions' on 25 and 26 November in Barcelona, Spain.

The topics of keynote speeches, roundtables, discussions and sessions will include the following:
- research and innovation on fostering sustainable mobility;
- the importance of partnership for the take up of new mobility solutions;
- planning transport through partnership and consultation;
- improved road safety;
- new approaches for handling freight;
- cleaner mobility via innovation in transport;
- traffic management and travel information for efficient roads;
- towards a common agenda for local mobility.

Polis is a network of European cities and regions working together to develop innovative technologies and policies for local transport. The aim is to improve local transport through integrated strategies that address the economic, social and environmental dimensions of transport.
