Publisher's Note
================
Debate about whether and when to join the euro is hotting up.
With the krone under pressure, Danish PM Rasmussen says the
financial crisis will not speed up his country's vote to
join the eurozone. The Czech Republic also should avoid a
decision on a euro adoption date in the current financial
crisis, says the Czech National Bank governor. And while the
Polish government this week approved a roadmap for euro
adoption in 2012, the move could still be blocked by the
opposition.

One country, however, appears to have few doubts about the
benefits of swapping its currency for a bigger, safer one.
Some 72.5 per cent of Icelanders are now in favour of
adopting the euro, according to a poll published on Monday.
68.8 per cent think Iceland should apply to join the EU.
