It is easy to forget that Britain is not the only country that would be damaged by Brexit. Withdrawal by one of the three biggest Member States affects the rest of Europe, too.

Britain is seen by many smaller states as an effective counterbalance to heavyweights France and Germany, writes Czech MEP Tomas Zdechovsky. He welcomes the British contribution to EU reform. He also thinks a Brexit would cause substantial damage the EU as a whole. It is difficult to disagree with him.
