AÉROCENTRE airs aeronautical expertise at Aircraft Interiors Expo

AÉROCENTRE is a French cluster of aerospace excellence that was created in May 2009 in the Centre region of France and specialises in cabin interiors: it will be exhibiting at Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg (in northern Germany) from 27 to 29 March 2012. The cluster is seeking new customers and partners in presenting its services and know-how at the trade show.
AÉROCENTRE is a French cluster of aerospace excellence that was created in May 2009 in the Centre region of France and specialises in cabin interiors: it will be exhibiting at Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg (in northern Germany) from 27 to 29 March 2012. The cluster is seeking new customers and partners in presenting its services and know-how at the trade show.
Regional association AÉROCENTRE, which will be present at Aircraft Interiors Expo at the end of this month, was founded in 2009 in order to sustain, develop and structure the aeronautical industry in the Centre region. The cluster now has 45 member companies, employing a total of 4,500 people. The region has an airport dedicated to freight and aircraft maintenance, as well as 12 research laboratories that work in partnership with the sector’s major players.
AÉROCENTRE has been a member of Groupement des Industries Francaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales (GIFAS, The French association for the aeronautic and space industry) since January 2010.
The cluster of excellence concentrates a range of skills, including cabin-equipment engineering, precision manufacturing relying on advanced technology, and high-quality production harnessing the expertise of the luxury-goods industry.
As part of various collaborative projects involving other players in the sector, AÉROCENTRE also provides services in relation to engineering and certification as well as contract manufacturing, and in the field of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO).
AÉROCENTRE’s products include ready-designed and certified cabin equipment. The cluster also has a new AÉROCENTRE engineering department made up of experts with over 20 years of experience in equipment conception for cabin modification. This department provides R&D and design solutions according to clients’ specific needs, while creating products that are certified for aeronautical use.
Regarding MRO, AÉROCENTRE proposes maintenance solutions for many types of commercial and business aircraft.
Additionally, AÉROCENTRE offers contract-manufacturing solutions that allow its clients to reduce the number of partners and suppliers they require: this is achieved through offering a unique interface covering both parts and equipment subcontracting needs. AÉROCENTRE supplies precision mechanical components, subassemblies and systems.
AÉROCENTRE has a wide range of clients, including Atcom Télémétrie, a specialist in radio and infrared data transmission, and Ric Environnement, which deals with industrial recycling. AÉROCENTRE has also worked for PGA AVIONICS, LISI AEROSPACE CREUZET INDRAERO SIREN and THALES AVIONICS, among many others.
