Ultima Mini Exhibition Helps To Educate Suppliers
Ultima is the biggest manufacturer of portable marketing solutions in the UK and they have recently run a mini exhibition to help educate suppliers on their products and services.
Part of the Nimlok group and one of Display Wizard’s major trade suppliers, the firm has become one of the world’s market leaders for display hardware solutions. The open day, which took place early July 2012, aimed to help consumers learn more about the products on offer and allow customers to meet key staff they would not normally be able to.
Around 140 suppliers were registered in attendance and over 80 visitors were present at the exhibition. The show, which was last run five years ago, featured workshops to teach and give consumers confidence in the collection of products. The mini exhibition proved so successful, another show will be organised later this year.
Andrew Burdett, Ultima Displays Managing Director, said: “We haven’t had one for five years, the last time we had one it was a reasonable success. A lot of people didn’t realise what we did and I think that showing what we now can do in terms of stock management, manufacturing, printing and textiles that we print on; I think it will be maybe something they didn’t expect to see.”
Diarmuid Beary, Managing Director of Display Wizard, said: “I brought two of my new members of staff here today to see what Ultima are about because they’ve just dealt with them on the phone. It’s useful for them to see all the products and the way Ultima runs and the enthusiasm behind the company.”
