Office Space Gets Go-ahead in Leeds

So far 600,000 sq ft of office space is completed, with a further 1.2 million square feet of office space planned shortly.

Scarborough Development Group MD, Mark Jackson said: “This scheme is looking to set a new benchmark in business parks for modern occupiers and their staff.” 

The rest of the plans include 177,000 sq ft of hotels and sports facilities and 33,000 sq ft of cafes, bars and restaurants. 

The developer plans to also bring forward construction of Manston Land Link Road, which will provide a new route between workers north of the Leeds to York railway.

Mark Johnson added: “We are pleased that we are also able to bring forward in our application the Manston Lane Link Road, an important piece of transport infrastructure that will not only enhance Thorpe Park’s accessibility, but which can have a transformative effect on the east Leeds area.”
