London Offices Pay More to Give Clients Good Impression
Businesses in London are willing to pay higher prices for office space to impress new and existing clients, according to a new study.
The report, conducted by OfficeBroker.com has found that the price of an office workstation in London has increased in the past year. It has been announced that the cost of a single workstation, suitable for one person is priced at £583 per month in central London.
This monthly figure is much higher than it has been in previous years, as the rate was only £502 last year and was even cheaper, costing £418 per month in 2009.
London’s West End holds the most expensive office prices with workstations costing £721 per month, followed by areas such as Whitehall paying £641 per month. These figures show how desirable London office space is and also highlights that businesses are prepared to pay large amounts to position their offices in the most sought after areas.
As a contrast, cheaper London office space is available at £435 to £539 per month; however, these prices are still much higher than office space in other cities such as Birmingham and Manchester.
Despite the recession, businesses are looking for high-end, modern and contemporary office space that will reflect an innovative and professional working environment.
Companies that have been previously focused on price each month, are now looking to ensure that their office reflects their brand and appeals to any new clients that visit the office.
