BBC Takes the Top Spot in Viral Video Chart

The British Broadcasting Corporation has beaten the likes of Nike and Carlsberg to score the top spot on the Viral Video Chart, compiled with the Viral Ad Network. The clip involves Will Smith acting out ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ theme tune with Take That frontman Gary Barlow on The Graham Norton Show.

The viral video sees the American actor, who is 43years-old, rap the well-known lyrics to the hit sitcom whilst Barlow (41) plays the theme’s music on a keyboard. So far it has racked up more than 3.5 million views.

The top 10 brands in the chart consist of the BBC with 10,500 shares on Facebook and 3,539,235 views; Leap with 6763 Facebook shares and 2,917,515 views; and Nike with 9,964 Facebook shares and 1,346,707 views.

Further brands which topped the chart include Carlsberg with 1,451,397 views; Assassin’s Creed/Ubisoft with 2,263,478 views; and Samsung (GALAXY Note) with 1,033,649 views.

What is more, the seventh spot was taken by E4 with 55,980 views; Chelsea FC with 399,999 views; and Anchorman / Paramount with 301,673 views. The tenth spot was taken again by Chelsea FC with 492,482 views.
