The Project Manager would be responsible for EU-specific,
regional and thematic projects, EU project coordination, copoperation,
EU policies monitoring and reporting, providing consulting services,
event planning, management and production, Maintaining and developing
strategies and activities with Westminster and its clients (mainly
based in the EU and represented in Brussels), and the pursuit of
creative ideas and activities to promote Westminster's mission.
The Westminster Company was founded in 2006 in Prague. It
is focused on improving, optimizing and capacity building in public
administration,oriented at meeting the clients' needs. Westminster's
main areas of focus are: research, education, consultancy, municipal
solutions.
DUTIES
Monitoring & reporting
- Monitoring and reporting strategic and up-to-date information on the European Union
- Media monitoring and analyses and media relations
Consulting (or consultancy coordintation)
- European affairs consulting services addressing the priorities, needs and concerns of regions/towns/municipalities
- Speed transfer of key insights on Global thinking in person, by telephone, by email and by proxy
- Consortium building, connected thinking and stakeholder
management exercises, strategic conversations, scenario building,
building of decision tree’s, setting of negotiation surroundings
- Arranging background information to meetings on strategic, tactical, practical and personal level
- 1st aid in crisis management
- Writing speeches and make power points that make impact
- Committee of the Regions’ agenda
Lobbying
- Lobbying between public entities, preparation & strategic position of execution of diplomatic services
- Testing the bathwater: Cross & double check of key
decision making information, contacts with and insights of key decision
makers & staff preparing position papers
- Representing and promoting interests of regions/towns/municipalities
- Making and maintaining contacts with EU institutions as
well as with regional and local representations in Brussels or other
public service organisations; coordinating networking, collaboration
and cooperation
Project coordination, management, evaluation & monitoring (or coordination only
- Preparing, coordinating and making projects and searching for suitable financial resources and cooperation opportunities
Expert analysis
- Executing expert analyses
Public sector clients' promotion
- Promoting the culture, art and history (through organizing cultural events such as exhibition, concerts etc.)
Event planning, management & production
- Preparing, organizing and executing
Print production
- Printing POS, brochures etc.
- Ensuring of graphic design, copywriter, language corrector, printing house, follow printing etc.
Traffic management
- Arranging meetings with leaders, academia and sector or geographical representatives
Destination management
- Trip planning
Education
- Arranging expert and thematic training, workshops and
other educational activities for pulblic service employees in Brussels,
European bodies and institutions’ employees
