Europol is the European Law Enforcement Agency which aims at improving the effectiveness and co–operation of the competent authorities in the Member States in preventing and combating terrorism, unlawful drug trafficking and other serious forms of organised crime.

The main role of the Human Resources Unit is to ensure the efficient and effective management and development of staff within Europol.  

The Human Resources Unit is responsible for the efficient and effective relocation, recruitment, development and training of staff as well as the administration of all personnel matters. The portfolio of Personnel and Administration includes maintenance of personnel files, monitoring of leave and management of contract renewals as well as maintaining an up-to-date
overview on Europol staff, the administration of salaries and the elaboration, development and revision of personnel related regulations.

The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for supporting the Senior Specialist in handling HR legal matters relating to Europol’s administration and personnel.
