The Head of Technical Department will be responsible for managing, coordinating and supervising the activities of the Technical Department. He/she will report directly to the Executive Director and will be responsible for:

• Contributing to the content, layout and planning of the Annual Work Program of the Agency.
• Ensuring that the relevant deliverables are completed on time as determined in the Agency’s Annual Work Program.
• Contributing to the Agency’s Communication Plan that regards the work and deliverables of the Technical Department. 
  
• Liaising with the Agency’s Security Officer  to define relevant parts of the ENISA’s security policy, as well as implementing this policy within the technical department.
• Reporting to the Executive Director on staff and related organization matters.
