Job summary
ECPA is looking to recruit a first class Public Relations Manager/Senior Manager who will provide communication support to ECPA Policy Teams and technical expert groups, represent ECPA in relevant fora and particularly represent ECPA as spokesperson towards the media.

The European Crop Protection Association (ECPA) is the pan-European voice of the crop protection industry. This Brussels-based trade association represents 21 market-leading companies as well as national associations in 28 countries.

Tasks

·   Providing communication support to ECPA’s internal groups and member Network, working with EU media and the EU press corp.
·   Mapping and analysing media and policy developments in the EU
·   Developing EU related communication strategies on industry issues as well as promoting the benefits of the industry
·   Creating and implementing media campaigns
·   Understanding and making use of modern media & web technologies
·   Ability to translate scientific papers & positions into public affairs messages and strong written media articles
