Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

The European Union's WEEE Directive aims to prevent the generation of electrical and electronic waste and to promote re-use, recycling and other forms of recovery in order to reduce the quantity of waste discarded. It requires the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment and the recovery and re-use or recycling of waste collected.
