Impact on foreign direct investment if UK joins the Euro

The effects of the UK joining the Euro will be big I'm sure wether we have met the criteria, and passed the 5 tests or not. My particular interest is how it will affect the UK in terms of foreign trade and foreign direct investment. I was wondering what effects would occur and if they would be positive, negative, or both but one side seriously out-weighing the other. <BR>Sarah Hakes<BR>
