Legislation regarding EUR stamped Pallets

Is their specific EU legislation regarding the type of pallet that can be used to deliver goods on within the EU. WE have German and Swiss customers who insist that it is 100% necessary to use EUR stamped standard Euro pallets, and yet our customers in other EU countries have not raised this as an issue. <br>P.O'Brart<br>
